But Miley Cyrus, 21, risked angering her fans as she appeared to make light of date rape as she performed at London’s G-A-Y nightclub on Friday.
TMZ reports that the star brought a friend on stage to wish him a happy birthday and referring to her friend’s sexuality, she said: “You now, everyone’s a little bit gay…It’s the truth.”
“Everyone’s gay, all it takes in one cocktail. And if that doesn’t work, sprinkle something in their drink. That’s what I always do.”
The singer’s risqué comment follows a bizarre tirade earlier in the week in which she told her audience to stop smoking cigarettes and switch to cannabis instead.
Miley Cyrus grabbed a handful of her own butt at her surprise gig at London hotspot G-A-Y. The pop starlet debuted a new silver-sequined bodysuit, which looked like something The Blonds designed.
The Golden Globe nominee’s show then became even more outrageous as she performed provocatively alongside a giant blow-up penis.
“GAY turnnnn the f*** up!” she tweeted to her 18 million followers.
Recovering Miley – keeping hydrated onstage – also rocked a voluminous red-sequin and white furry shrug.
The Wrecking Ball hitmaker – who’s rumoured to be besexual – previously called London her “favourite place to perform.”
“I have never seen more gay people in my whole life,” she told Bang Showbiz.
“When I go to London that’s what it is. I feel like they are so much more open, much more than here in the US where they’re feeling trapped, where it’s like, “Can I even say I believe in gay marriage?” Can I say that my favorite fans are my gay fans?” Am I allowed to say that? Because half of America is still against it.“
Bangerz is Cyrus’ fourth concern tour – ending August 14 – and she loudly encourages her fans to engage in same-sex kissing and marijuana-smoking.
“Weed never killed anyone so stop smoking cigarettes and roll a fat blunt,” she was reported to have said Tuesday at her O2 Arena show.
Miley needs to do some research regarding the short- and long-term effects of smoking marijuana. She also needs to know that making fun of a date rape drug is no laughing matter.
Her parents must be so proud…
