Spring Starts in Notting Hill { Obviously }

Notting Hill in SpringYes, guess where I spied my first glimpse of Spring in London? It of course had to be Notting Hill, didn’t it? Iconic buildings in Notting Hill (I saw so many selfies going on with those fabulously pastel candy coloured buildings for the background) with a sprinkling of white blossom and sunshine shining through.  There’s always something so beautiful when the blossom starts to bloom and the streets are strewn with mother nature’s wedding confetti. It also of course marks the beginning of the exciting arrival of spring time which then gives us all hope for summer, warmth, endless sunshine and of course, lazy afternoons spent outside picnicking with nibbles, prosecco and picnic rugs; bliss. Finding myself one very unexpectedly sunny afternoon in Notting Hill I of course had to start my route off meandering my way down Portobello Road. Passing by some exceptionally beautiful interior designed houses. On that note (London’s most exquisite interior designed homes) did anyone catch last night’s BBC One’s episode on “Millionaire Basement Wars”? Extremely interesting, and I had no idea how many icebergs were being built in the top London Boroughs; definitely worth a watch on iPlayer. Notting Hill and Portobello Road is definitely ...
