Spring Cleaning

By Fitnspicy @fitnspicy

I participated in a Blogger Activation on behalf of Millennial Central for Modere I received a promotional item to facilitate my review and to thank me for my participation

It is well documented that I am a clean freak. Vacuuming a few times a week, dusting, washing floors, cleaning of counters multiple times a day and wiping down the bathroom each day. Add that onto the bigger spring projects that you need to do. Especially in Minnesota where we have windows closed from November until May (let’s hope that changes this year).

Over the past few years I have moved to more natural cleaners and it has made a big difference in our house. Here’s what is in my cabinet:

Shaklee
Basic H2® Organic Super Cleaning Concentrate

This one bottle of concentrate makes 48 gallons of cleaner with different formulas for windows, everyday cleaners and a de-greaser. I have been using this for almost 2 years and LOVE it.  And that same bottle is not even 1/2 empty. Best money spent!

Norwex Cleaning Paste

This cleans everything. Seriously. Tubs, stoves, inside the dishwasher. One tub has lasted me more than a year, there is barely any gone and I use it at least a few times a week. In fact, when we moved into our house I washed just about every surface with this to get rid of some of that grime. It’s spendy at around $30 but I do use it all the time and the cost per use is very reasonable.

Dusting mitt

Instead of using an rag or dish rag or old t-shirt you just put this on your right or left hand and get dusting away.  When you get done you just throw it in the wash and keep reusing it. No more disposable wipes or ripped t-shirts. Going on over a year and it still looks great!

Spring Cleaning

I was introduced to a new company that is all about creating safe and effective household products, Modere. They sent me a $50 gift code to try it out and I ended up ordering a bunch of cleaning supplies and health products (I will mention those next week).

Laundry Pods in Lavender and Vanilla.

These smell amazing! And they really do get the clothes clean. I found myself smelling the towels. And I know pods are more expensive but I love the ease of grabbing one and throwing it in the washer. It makes it easier to use the right amount of detergent too.

Product number #2 that I am loving- the dishwasher pods.

Red pear and magnolia. Beautiful smelling! When you open your dishwasher and that smell wafts through the kitchen. So lovely.

Thanks to Modere for letting me try their products, I will be ordering more!

Any great cleaning products on your list?
