I am sure that many of us had been playing cops and criminal when kids, pursuing and shooting and imaging entire cities being destroyed around us.

By those years, we could have never imagined that, one day, a game would have been able to recreate that environment and bring us back to our childhood. But this is exactly what Battlefield Hardline, a brand new game from Electronic Arts, has done. This fantastic role game is not only packed with a bunch of violent action within a glamorous, huge and completely interactive (read destroyable) environment, but it also offers a compelling story telling, that will create in the gamer that sort of emotions for characters that many of us have only felt in front of movies and TV series.

“Our goal with Battlefield Hardline was to create the most complete first-person shooter this year by building upon the unrivalled multiplayer franchise DICE created and adding a memorable single player experience with storylines and characters that fans will care about just like they would their favorite TV show,”

said Steve Papoutsis, General Manager of Visceral Games and Executive Producer of Battlefield Hardline.

Powered by the award-winning Frostbite 3 game engine, Battlefield Hardline also delivers a new approach to game strategy, allowing the users to chose which side, cops or criminals, they want to play for, alongside a wide range of improvements of the genre in terms of weaponry, vehicles and gadgets.

The storytelling has been developed featuring a cast of actors and writers, including Alexandra Daddario from True Detective, Kelly Hu from Arrow, Wendy Calhoun from Justified, and Benito Martinez from House of Cards.
