Announcing The 540WMain 2016-2017 Improvement & Modernization Fundraising Campaign
540WMain is the Susan B. Anthony district’s first community, art, event, & education center vested in up-building, uplifting, and improving the National Register Susan B. Anthony Neighborhood, its residents, and Greater Rochester.
Starting this month, 540WMain will kick off its 2016-2017 community fundraising campaign. This year’s campus will focus on 540WMain’s Improvement & Modernization efforts.
The 540WMain Improvement & Modernization Fundraising Campaign will allow the community center to make a number of essential improvements including; renovation of the indoor & outdoor community classroom that houses The Rochester Community After School Program, address several electrical safety concerns, and update technology & equipment.
540WMain Community Art Education & Cultural Center is asking for the support of the Rochester community to help raise $15,000 to make these improvements to the facility. This fundraiser will allow 540W?IMain to continue to serve the Susan B. Anthony Neighborhood and beyond and grow its ever expanding repertoire of free community programs which includes:
- The Rochester Community After School Program
- The Historical Urban Art Community Walking Tour
- The Workforce Development, Entrepreneur, & College Preparatory Internship
- Community Business Services & Office Kiosk
- Community Clothing Pantry
- and more
