Sony India announced price-cut for its smartphone models Sony Xperia X and Z5 Premium in India. Xperia X will now be available at Rs. 38,990 or US $586, which was earlier priced at Rs. 48,990 or US $735 at the time of its launch in May 2016. Also, Xperia Z5 Premium will now be priced at Rs. 47,990 or US $720, which was earlier available at Rs. 55,990 or US $ 840 when launched in October 2015. The new price is effective from 1st September, 2016.
