Roddy Woomble's "Every Line of a Long Moment" is a track I hear on a loop in my head from time to time. For no reason at all, I'll just wake up singing the lyric, "...I look out across the wall...across the wall and into the Atlantic...". It's a song that came out in 2006. For young readers, I know that seems like the dark ages. But good music isn't limited to the past year or so. Roderick "Roddy" Woomble is a Scottish singer, songwriter and writer. He is best known as the lead vocalist of indie rock band Idlewild, with whom he has recorded six studio albums. "Every Line of a Long Moment" is from his debut album My Secret is My Silence.
