Something New..

By Marinacng @MarinaCng
Going to the beach to water ski and finding that the weather conditions are not the ones desired is somewhat disappointing.. The last time that happened to me, I decided not to waste the afternoon, and try a new sport: Wake Surfing!  After having done water ski, wake board and a little bit of knee boarding, it wasn't too difficult to succeed in this one, and my conclusion was that it was definitely worth it!

Wake surfing is a combination of wake boarding and surfing, but much closer to the second.  Using a rope, you get up behind the boat, and after getting the right balance, the rope is thrown back to the boat and you start surfing the wakes created by the boat.  The more the weight inside the boat, the better the wakes, and even though weather conditions may make it more difficult, my opinion was that it was not too bad!
Here are some action shots from my wake surfing experience..
