Socially Driven: Exploring My Denver

I’m partnering with Mercedes-Benz to share my version of Denver. People are always asking me about my favorite spots in the city, and I decided it was high time to share them with you guys. If you had just one day in Denver, these are my can’t-miss spots.

1. The Georgetown Loop Railroad, just 50 minutes West of Denver
This beautiful view is from my train car at the Georgetown Loop Railroad in historic Georgetown, Colorado. I was on the Wine & Cheese train ride, which I highly suggest.

2. Thirsty Lion Gastropub at Union Station
Stop by Union Station and take a stroll around the train station, enjoy the ambiance and the shops. If you’re feeling hungry, Thirsty Lion serves up a fantastic brunch (get the breakfast burrito) and has 52 beers on tap, including several local brews.

3. LowDown Brewery + Kitchen
Speaking of beer, keep LowDown in mind for dinner later. It’s one of the many brewpubs in Denver, and the pizza is to die for.

4. BrüFrouFEST
BrüFrouFEST is just one example of the numerous beer festivals held in Denver each year. This one teams up local chefs and breweries for the ultimate beer & food pairing. If you’re visiting Denver, be sure to find out which festivals are going on during your stay.

5. Bread Bar in Silverton, Colorado
On your way to or from the Georgetown Loop Railroad, head to Bread Bar in nearby Silverton, a former mining camp, for a handcrafted cocktail while you take in the break taking views.

So, what’s YOUR version of Denver? If you live in or plan on visiting NYC, LA, Chicago, Austin, Miami, or Denver, Mercedes-Benz is inviting you to share your city in a simple and artistic way on Instagram. It’s easy—you create a quick (but beautiful) animated album of 5 of your best geotagged photos and upload it to Instagram. Then, you share your album on your feed with the hashtag #MBsociallydriven—and your photos might be featured on the Mercedes-Benz website!

Ready to rediscover your city? Everyone experiences their own city, their own way. Here’s how I see my Denver. Now, show me yours! Share your city and tag #MBsociallydriven. #ad #sponsored
