By Ceemac126 @PGCBlogging

The Jack Johnson verdict was all over the place but here’s some other notable news for you:  Kenneth Glover, CEO of Dimensions Health Care had convos with Jack Johnson and is now being investigated, Paul Schurick, former Ehrlich aide, was  So much happened today, Tuesday convicted of attempting to fraudulently influence registered voters (Democrats) not to go to the polls, Showplace Arena/Equestrian Center will be “studied” to see if operations are up to par, and Prince George’s County was shafted in final form by GAO when they awarded the HHS lease to a Rockville company.

Kenneth Glover, Dimensions Health Care CEO, is under investigation regarding his dealings and recorded conversations with Jack Johnson.  He was going to set Jack Johnson up with a cushy consulting deal.  A sentencing memorandum from the FBI includes conversations between Kenneth Glover with Jack Johnson, Glover has confirmed. Kenneth Glover, worked as an aide to former County Executive Wayne Curry and went on to become president and CEO of Dimensions Healthcare System, which runs the Prince George’s hospital.

“A Baltimore jury convicted Paul E. Schurick on conspiring and attempting to sabotage Democratic Gov. Martin O’Malley’s re-election last fall with Election Day 2010 robocalls telling Democrats in the city and Prince George’s County that victory was at hand and they did not have to go to the polls.”  He faces up to 12 years at sentencing.

W. Chambers, Showplace Arena

Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission has pledged to fund a $40,000 study on Showplace Arena and Equestrian Center’s facility, financial operations and cost effectiveness.  Over the summer, the facility was audited and found to have more than $1million in shady spending under then manager, William Chambers.
    • Showplace Arena don’t go!
