Here in the Southeast region of Florida, in Palm Beach County, it wasn't the rain that was a problem with Hurricane Irma; it was the wind. As you can see from the pictures below, a lot of trees, signs and fences came down. And a lot of power lines, too. Following are a few pictures I took while driving around the day after the storm (very carefully, as many traffic signals were also out).
