SNACK OF THE DAY (08/16/2015)

It is so important to eat throughout the day. I find that I feel better and eat less overall when I eat 4 to 5 small meals a day. A healthy body gives hunger signals around every 4 hours. Therefore, it is important to eat about every 4 hours. Eating snacks ensures that the body is properly fueled and also prevents overeating at meals. This snack is so quick and easy to make. It is also so yummy. It is the perfect snack for us women when we are menstruating (a way to get your chocolate fix without going overboard). Just slice a banana in half and spread on your favorite nut butter. Finally, top with your favorite toppings. I topped mine with chocolate chips (of course) and granola.
