Slow Cooker Cheesy Creamed Corn

By Veronica46

This southern style corn recipe is crazy easy and delicious! Just dump everything in your slow cooker for a no fuss side dish. IMGP9675

Everyone in our family loves corn. Monkey girl while teething loved to nosh on a corn cob just to help with her teething. She loves corn on the cob, but not more than that she loves creamed corn. So why slave over a stove making it, when all you have to do is toss everything in a slow cooker? This cheesy creamed corn is a family favorite, it has been since I can remember. I remember my mom making it when I was growing up. It is also a quick and easy side dish you can make all during the holidays.

I think I have mentioned how much I love my slow cookers. Yes I have several and enjoy making dishes with all of them. My friend and fellow blogger Judith Hannemann who blogs over at Midnight Baker likes slow cookers also. In fact, she has written a cookbook about slow cooking. She even runs a facebook page about that particular subject. It is a great resource for me to get recipes and for inspiration. Judith has been kind enough to offer me a cookbook The Classic Slow Cooker to give away. All you have to do is enter below.
