Swatches L-R: Heavier swatch & blended out
There are some blushers out there that either look terrifying in the pan or a bit boring, and strangely enough I think that this one is a combination of the two. The Sleek blush in Sunrise is described as a "red toned golden brown" which in theory doesn't sound like the most exciting of colours, but I couldn't have been more wrong as this is such a pretty shade for the autumn and winter months. Sleek advise that this shade would be perfect for medium or darker skin tones but I have to say I love it against my pale complexion as it stands out and gives me such a healthy glow without looking like clown makeup. Personally I'd describe Sunrise as a pink toned brown with gold shimmer and although it may still look a bit scary in the first swatch, you're left with a gorgeous golden toned pink when blended out. The brown tones make it perfect for this time of year and I'd go as far to say that I think this particular shade would work on any skin tone! As with the other Sleek blushes that I've tried, Sunrise is nicely pigmented and has great lasting power on the cheeks so it's a blush purchase I'd definitely recommend to anyone. You can find Sleek Sunrise on their website or at selected Superdrug stores (or online) for £4.49 which I think is such a steal for a great quality blush.
What blushers are you loving this winter?
