Nawab Siraj Talpur, one of two prime accused in Shahzeb Khan Murder case has agreed to become an approver against co-accused Shahrukh Jatoi. He will be presented before magistrate tomorrow. Siraj Talpur, who hails from influential Talpur family, was arrested from interior Sindh on court orders. Shahrukh Jatoi, co-accused in same case has already fled country two days after the incident.
Jatoi and Talpur are powerful tribes of Sindh with strong connections in power corridors. Imdad Talpur, father of Siraj Talpur held talks with highest level police officials’ to ensure that his son remains un-investigated.
Their strength can be influence can be gauged from the fact that there is no record of Shahrukh Jatoi leaving country. He managed to board a Dubai bound flight with going through immigrations process.
Shahzeb Khan Murder has become a high profile case due to social media and sue Moto notice by apex court. Despite all this chances are high that justice will not be served and killer sons of influential families will walk free to hunt for victims.
