Atkinson is one of my favourite writers. I've read and loved most of her books. So, I was really looking forward to reading this story, not just because the character has the same name as me. I really enjoyed this story. It was very funny at times but typical of Atkinson's work, had some dark undertones at times. Pamela is a great character, brought to memorable life in a few words.
