Sheer Skirts & Peter Pan Dresses

Looking at this outfit right now I only have one regret: that I didn't tie a long velvet ribbon into a bow around my waist, with the ends trailing down a good twelve inches. That would have been the perfect finishing touch. Must file away for next time ;)
Going with the sheer trend of yesterday, here I am moving one of my favorite lace skirts into nippier weather. Instead of going the usual route and pairing the delicate material with a heavier underskirt, I went the opposite direction and matched it with a long sleeved dress. This peter pan collar number is from Fiery Finish Vintage and I really love how the soft mauve color goes so seamlessly with the white, delicate lace. It almost looks like it's just one dress, and not a layered look. 
Now all I have to do is go buy that velvet ribbon...
