Set Sail with Santa at The Bridge Inn

By Emma @glasgowfoodie

Recently awarded the Best Pub in Scotland accolade by the AA, The Bridge Inn will run Santa cruises on its own barge from 7 – 24 December.

The Pride of the Union barge will be turned into Santa’s own sleigh on water and visitors will cruise up the Union Canal to a magical island grotto.

There will be activities for the chidlren to do: write their letters to Santa and make Christmas decorations. The elves will then take you on board the barge.

The cruise takes you along The Union Canal for about 20 minutes. There are characters to see as you go along the canal, tea, coffee or mulled wine will be offered to the adults with delicious mince pies, and juice and snacks for the children.

Entertainment and pressies from Santa for all the children on the return journey.

The trip lasts an hour

Cruises start from £12 per person or £10 per person if booked as a group of six or more (children under one year of age are free of charge). Included in the price is a selection of refreshments, treats and gifts for children with adults provided with mince pies, mulled wine, tea and coffee.
