Holly Robinson Peete gave us ballerina vibes during the Sesame Street 50th anniversary gala in New York earlier this week.

Holly looked amazing as she showed up on the carpet in a pink feathery Pamella Rolland dress.

Sesame Street premiered Nov. 10th 1969, and Holly’s dad Matt Robinson, was one of the original cast members. He was the first actor to portray the character of Gordon Robinson on the long–running PBS children’s TV program.

In the beginning it was just them. Bob, Mr. Hooper, Susan, and …Gordon. And these original Muppets. So proud of this show. It was the first time as a child I got to see people that looked like me on a children’s show. What a concept! 🤦🏽‍♀️ I remember my dad coming to me telling me about this new gig he got and about how it takes place on a city block like ours in Philadelphia. He said his costars were a guy in a trashcan and a 12 foot bird. Ar 5 years old I was skeptical. What did I know? LOL #happy50thbirthday @sesamestreet #sesamestreet50 #sesame50 #1969
