September 2016 TomBox Review

September 2016 TomBox

I was so excited to see my next TomBox arrived! TomBox was previously known as Swaagbox. TomBox is a time of the month subscription service. You can choose what type of feminine products (pads or tampons) you would like to receive each month. Along with your feminine products, they include a jewelry piece and a box filled with makeup and skincare products. You can also choose to double your jewelry and makeup for $6 more. I was intrigued because you can also opt for a box without the feminine products called the No Flow Box. That is what I chose.

Cost: 16.00/month (standard with feminine products), 10/month (standard No Flow Box),16/month (double No Flow Box: this is the box I receive). 22/month (double with feminine products). You can also add razors to any for $6 more.

Ships: To US only

FIRST IMPRESSION:

I could see many FULL SIZED products! I love that they have been including information cards every month! I couldn’t wait to dig in!

REVIEW OF ITEMS:

Silver Heart Anklet

Silver Heart Anklet ($10)

I don’t own many anklets so I am excited when I receive them. This one is cute and simple and I would definitely wear it.

Gold and Acrylic Necklace

Gold and Acrylic Necklace ($9)

I love statement jewelry and this necklace is so pretty. I love gold jewelry so much and I love how the black and emerald beads accompany the gold hardware. I love it!

Palladio Clearly Coral Lip Gloss
Palladio Clearly Coral Lip Gloss swatch

Palladio Clearly Coral Lip Gloss ($5)

This is a FULL SIZE. I don’t wear many coral shade lip colors even though I need to. I love the coral color. This lipgloss looks gorgeous. However, the swatch feels very sticky so I believe this gloss is going to be a very sticky gloss. I hope I like it on the lips.

Paula Dorf Baby Eyes Enhancer

Paula Dorf Baby Eyes Enhancer ($6)

This is a sample size. I love nude eyeliners because they really awaken the eyes. I can’t wait to try this one. It feels decently creamy.

Palladio Green Tea Nail Fortifier

Palladio Green Tea Nail Fortifier ($3)

This is a FULL SIZE! My nails are terrible so I am excited to try this nail treatment. It is supposed to nourish the nails.

Etherial Beauty Foot File

Etherial Beauty Foot File ($5)

I am not excited about this item, but it is very useful. I needed a new foot file so I will try this one.

Fran Wilson Moodpearl Lipstick

Fran Wilson Moodpearl Lipstick ($6)

This is a FULL SIZE. I am not a huge fan of mood changing products. I just don’t like them. However, I am intrigued by the word pearl so I will try it.

Palladio 4D Boost Herbal Volumizing Mascara in Brown

Palladio 4D Boost Herbal Volumizing Mascara in Brown ($10)

This is a FULL SIZE! I never use brown mascara. However, I will try this one and see how it works.

Skone Insanely Intense Tatooed Black Eyeliner

Skone Insanely Intense Tatooed Black Eyeliner ($15)

This is a FULL SIZE! I have tried this eyeliner before and it is okay. It doesn’t stay wet long enough to finish the whole eye. It is pigmented, but it wasn’t easy to use. This packaging looks new so I will give it another try and see if they improved the formula.

OVERALL IMPRESSION:

This month’s TomBox was not my favorite. I really loved the jewelry that was included this month. However, I wasn’t a fan of most of the beauty products. I am getting tired of getting the same brands all the time. I am most likely going to cancel this subscription due to financial reasons. I really do love this box so much and hope to purchase it again in the future! I love that TomBox has many subscription choices to fit whatever needs you have. I chose the Double No Flow Box. Have you tried TomBox before? What are your thoughts? Let me know in the comments below!
