SEO for WordPress : My 6 Favourite Plugins Started in just 2003, the open-source project WordPress has fast become the largest self-hosted blogging tool in the world, used on millions of sites and seen by tens of millions of people every day. So it goes without saying that SEO for WordPress should be a pretty big deal. In my ideal world, one that seems so far stretched from reality, the search term ‘WordPress SEO’ would far outrank ‘Justin Bieber’. But this is reality. It doesn’t water down its importance however. Plugins provide each and every WordPress webmaster with flexibility in a site’s design and operation, and this includes SEO. Submit your blog feed to blog directories and see the benefit of having all these links with varying anchor text back to your site. Redirection We all know that broken links cost us. I have not come across an easier way of dealing with broken links than Redirection. Simply identify the broken links and tell the plugin to send visitors to a relevant and correct link. Tweet Old Post If you have a blog on your website, then you will want to be...
