I picked up this peter pan collar blouse for £4 in a charity shop, the pictures don't show it but the blouse also has cute little white polka dots all over it. I've been researching the history of fashion at college and it reminded me of something from the 50's - due to the huge craze of polka dots at the time and I think women dressed very feminine in that era. I paired it with black because I wanted to fall away from 'looking girly', I like to do this a lot - mixing typically girly colours/shapes with more harsh colours.
