Hanbang which stands herbal treatment is a holistic form of skincare that has been integral to K-beauty for quite some time since it is based on the healing system of traditional herbal medicine which has been in practice for over 2,000 years. Hanbang skincare is all about creating balance with plant and flower based ingredients like ginseng, green tea, lotus root, ginger and licorice. Popular hanbang beauty brands include Sulwhasoo and History of Whoo while a number of other K-beauty brands like Missha and The Face Shop also have dedicated hanbang lines with their product range. I'm personally a big fan of hanbang beauty because you can't really argue with centuries old wisdom and I have found a number of products which have worked for me.
