Holiday in San Francisco

San Francisco offers travelers a variety of entertainment options, whether they want to peruse the exhibits at the city’s many museums or take in a Giants game at picturesque AT&T Park. Happily, a trip to San Francisco can be action-packed without breaking the bank.  Plan ahead when mapping out your itinerary and your time in the City by the Bay will as affordable as it is memorable.

There are some great choices that should be put on the itinerary and the infographic below – which you should check out – covers them nicely. These include the classic photo opportunity by the Golden Gate Bridge – best avoided during rush hour, but appreciated from a distance at sunset – the cities many piers – Pier 39 for example offers a 7D experience, which is something you should talk to your physics teacher about  - and more unusual attactions, like the crime fighting Batkid (who should bring a smile to the face of the biggest cynic).

The other highlight of San Francisco of course is the people. The city is not only home to one of the best public universities in the US – UC Berkeley – but also has the headquarters of a large portion of the worlds tech giants and billion dollar angel investment groups. Mix these ingedients together in a blender, shake well and add great food and lots of sunshine and you get an idea of why San Francisco is such a popular place to live and visit.

While I contemplate an infographic on the social dynamics of San Francisco and why it makes it such a great place to visit, check out some of the best places to visit and things to do in the city and the surrounding area.
