The ridiculous and completely unprofessional Samsung Unveiled event is over and Galaxy S4 is finally official.

The GS 4 comes with a substandard plastic exterior - the device is 136.6 x 69.8 x 7.9mm (5.38 x 2.75 x 0.31 inch) and 130g (4.59 ounces) - features a 5-inch 1080p (1,920 x 1,080) glove-friendly, Super AMOLED panel with a pixel density of 441 ppi. It packs 2GB RAM and will come with either a 1.6GHz Exynos Octa-core chip or a 1.9GHz quad-core Qualcomm, depending on your region. The device will also come with Android 4.2.2 on-board.

S4 is actually 0.8mm skinnier, 0.7mm thinner and 3g lighter than S3, which is impressive given its larger screen size and 2,600mAh battery and will offer WiFi 802.11ac support on top of the usual a/b/g/n, and an IR blaster is included for remote control access using Samsung’s WatchON service. NFC, Bluetooth 4.0 + LE are included, and it’s got MHL 2.0 and is able to use a standard MHL connector. The GS 4 sports a 13MP BSI camera with f/2.2 aperture and autofocus while the front-facing camera gets upgraded to 2MP and the device has dual-video capture mode, which lets you record video on both cameras simultaneously

Like everybody reported previously, S4 will come with Smart Pause – stops the video you’re watching if your eyes drift away -,  Smart Scroll – will move the screen up or down when you tilt the phone and look at the screen at the same time -,  Air View – brings a preview of an email, image gallery or video just by hovering your finger over it – and Group Play – connects networks of GS 4 devices in close proximity to share music in a surround-sound mode or play games against each other.

The phone will be released globally starting at the end of April

Galaxy S4 is not revolutionary and Samsung kinda told everybody that Galaxy S4 is the perfect device for desperate housewives but I suspect many others will find the phone quite charming.
