S&S; Review: Closure
Title: Closure
Format: PSN Release Date: March 27, 2012 Publisher: Eyebrow Interactive Developer: Eyebrow Interactive Price: $14.99 ESRB Rating: E

Closure is another PSN exclusive title that is unique in its own way.  Games like Journey and the PixelJunk games have made the PSN the ideal place to find great games at a reduced price.  The indie gaming scene is growing, and only getting better.

S&S; Review: Closure Presentation:
The first thing you'll notice about Closure is the black and white aura the game possesses.  The game's gorgeous aesthetics will completely entrance you in it's universe.  You'll notice little nuances of the game's look that are similar to other black and white games like Limbo and P.B. Winterbottom.  The music is a perfect compliment to the overall tone of the presentation, that makes the somber and depressive feel really come to fruition.  The artsy animations look good, including the cool creatures you will be controlling.  Overall, the game is flat-out mind-blowing, your eyes will get a treat every time you start a new level.

S&S; Review: Closure Core Gameplay:
The ambitious puzzle elements can be overwhelming when you see the game for the first time, but you will be quickly given a short and to the point tutorial  that explains everything seamlessly.  Basically, light acts like your path through, and darkness is not.  If there is light, you can traverse your way through that level, but if you try to progress through darkness, you will fall through the cracks.  Once you get your hands on the game, it will make more sense.  The game has three worlds, each with 24 stages to complete.  They all feel unique in their own way, encouraging and requiring you to think differently about their concept of light and darkness.  Your character will be carrying around a glowing orb that will be used to illuminate your path, but other glowing objects will help you travel like stationary lights which you can move that further complicate the many puzzles.  The complexity of the levels really heightens at later times and will require a lot of brain power to complete, so be prepared to sweat if you're not a good puzzle-solver (Like myself).

S&S; Review: Closure Final Thoughts:
Closure is another brilliantly crafted game from an indie developer, that makes the PSN light up.  $14.99 might sound like a lot, but as you complete levels, you'll know that it was well worth it.
