This week we are honoring our favorite spiced rum Sailor Jerry by bringing you a short film which celebrates their tenth anniversary and features ‘Where Eagles Dare’ from legendary American punk band The Misfits.
This is the first time The Misfits have ever collaborated commercially which shows like us they have good taste in rum.
Backed with the music of The Misfits the film is an action packed 2 minutes crammed with footage taken over the heady last ten years of Sailor Jerry mayhem, from their legendary Sailor Jerry Presents gigs, events and backyard barbecues.
The imagery used reflects the history of Sailor jerry from past to present and incorporates some historic WWII-era Honolulu material taken from the Hori Smoku documentary on the life and times of the legend behind the rum himself – Norman ‘Sailor Jerry’ Collins. A worthy read on Wikipedia if you have the time!
