The weekend start can’t be better than this..!! Salman Khan and Sonam Kapoor were guests of Ahmedabad Again. This time; this Prem Ratan Dhan Payo pair was here in Ahmedabad to promote Khadi. In association with the Gujarat State Khadi & Village Industries Board (GSKVIB), Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) presented this unique initiative called “Huts to High Street”. The Louis Kahn Plaza of the IIM Ahmedabad was the event venue.

The entire event was organized to promote khadi at Next level. PRDP pair, Salman Khan and Sonam Kapoor walked on the ramp wearing Khadi Designs by the renowned designers of the country, Rajesh Pratap Singh, 11:11, Pero and Rohit Bal. After the show, Salman Khan interacted with audiance and he too requested that; “Everyone must have 4-5 dresses and attires made from Khadi in their wardrobe” He talked for 5-10 minutes saying, “I am not saying you should not wear other fabrics, but along with other fabrics, keep Khadi in your wardrobe too. After all, this amazing and comfortable fabric is made here in our own country and we must wear it”. Along with that he also said that; we would like use Khadi somewhere part of “Being Human”; the brand by Salman Khan. Sonam Kapoor was wearing spectacular creation by Rohit Bal. She was pleased to walk on the ramp again in the same year promoting Khadi. It is noted that last time in January 2015, Sonam Kapoor walked for the same event for Designers like Anamika Khanna.
