Ba ba ba ba ba na na (Ba ba ba ba ba na na)

Banana ah ah

Potato na ah ah….

For those of you who have watched the banana trailer for Despicable me 2,this would be a very familiar and catchy phrase which would probably be stuck in your mind after you watched itIf not, here is the Potataona trailer!:

OK It’s no secret that I simply adore Despicable Me after I laid my eyes on it a few years ago(This blog was not even created at that time) and when Despicable Me 2 came out, my natural instinct just goes: “I SIMPLY MUST WATCH THIS!” without even seeing the trailer. [Yes, it’s that good]

With that sentence carved in my head, I head off to find my free Despicable Me 2 tickets on the web (I mean why spend money on something you can get for free?) and just nice, Safra is giving members free Despicable me 2 tickets (Yeah me!) !

In a nutshell, I got my tickets and managed to watched Despicable Me 2!

As usual, from this point onwards, I may give away part of the story line so if you don’t want that to happen, just stare at the minion picture below or click on my other reviews!

Let’s review the movie first!

Despicable me 2 is a heartwarming, comedic animated film which mainly depicts it’s story around Gru

being a spy, a father and a guy in love. It’s kind of entertaining and shocking to see an evil villain (For those of you who’ve watched Despicable me, you’ll understand that Gru was actually a criminal mastermind) turn over a new leaf and not do evil because of his kids.(Fatherly love is so courageous)

Anyways, I’m not here to write the whole plot of Despicable Me 2 out. I’m here to write a review! So let’s get on:

Overall, I feel that Despicable Me 2 is not as humorous as Despicable Me. It still have the cute minions (when they turn purple it’s not so cute) and a new wacky character is added in the film (Lucy), but it’s humor factor is a …meep (So-So).

The story line might be a little fast at times (It’s like you are here at one moment and another place at another moment) but because of it’s simplicity, the fast and moving plot is not a problem if you are so into the movie like I was. As usual, the graphics are great and like every children movie, the good guy will always have the last laugh (A little predictable eh? But, I guess you can’t expect the bad guy to win in a children movie can you?).

Safra member - Despicable Me 2 review

In conclusion, I would give this movie 3 IreviewUread smiles. Guess I was expecting the movie to be a lot more hilarious, a little less predictable, maybe a little more evil (Plot twist?)(I mean the title is already titled Despicable right?) and maybe a little more Agnes unforgettable actions:

"It’s so fluffy I’m gonna die!!!" (I actually had this as my SMS tone in the past and boy does everyone want to throw my phone away)
