SM North EDSA's new wing called the North Towers features various restaurants. Though I frequent that mall, I haven't had the chance to fully explore that building. So when we parked at the newest building, we decided to find a restaurant there as well.

We chose Roberto's, a Filipino - American Steak House. According to their Facebook page, this place offers 100% Australian Beef and with an omnipresent Western Flavours among its menu, and making sure that quality food is served at pleasing prices combines with a relaxing ambience to form an incomparable dining experience.

Looking at Roberto's facade makes you think that the place is small. But once you enter, you'll be surprised at how big the place is. They actually utilized their space very well. The tables and chairs are properly aligned and positioned at the centre. Sofa seats are on the side making sure diners have the space they need. Besides that, Roberto's also created a very interesting interior. Their light fixtures and black walls matched well with their various Medieval knights and samurai displays.

Now onto the food. As mentioned Roberto's is a Filipino - American Steak House but they also offer burgers, sandwiches, pasta dishes, and salads. We opted for a beef lasagna and did not pass the chance to try their steaks. If I'm not mistaken, we got the Ribeye Steak and Salisbury Steak.

Good thing we didn't pass the chance to try the steaks because the steaks are really good. To be fair, we only ordered the steaks below Php 400. Roberto's offers premium steaks that cost more than Php 1,000. I can't afford that even on a KKB style (Kanya-Kanyang-Bayad or Pay for Your Own Self) but these two are very flavourful and juicy.

The question now is, will I come back? Definitely, but I think I'll only take my family/ friends here on special occasions because their food and setting are perfect for celebrations like Mother's Day, birthday and the like.

If you want to try Roberto's, you can find them on the second floor of North Towers, SM City North EDSA, Bago Bantay, Quezon City.

Happy eating!
