By all accounts, "All Is Lost" is a powerful, must-see movie for all sailors (and lovers of sea disaster stories), scheduled to be released in theaters October 18. The story of one man alone in the ocean on a sailboat experiencing a series of disasters, whose Mayday call apparently goes unheard, is said to be a tour de force - one actor, virtually no dialogue, just heavy with the fears of most sailors and accumulating nonstop drama.
