Robert Redford Sailing Movie Released Soon

By Sailingguide

By all accounts, "All Is Lost" is a powerful, must-see movie for all sailors (and lovers of sea disaster stories), scheduled to be released in theaters October 18. The story of one man alone in the ocean on a sailboat experiencing a series of disasters, whose Mayday call apparently goes unheard, is said to be a tour de force - one actor, virtually no dialogue, just heavy with the fears of most sailors and accumulating nonstop drama. Ever since it got rave reviews at Cannes, I've been hearing about it and can't wait to see it when it opens in theaters. You can learn more and watch the trailer here. The trailer suggests a series of disasters but does not disclose the ending.
