A week is definitively too short : few days to spot the best places around… (actually, this is not enough! even if one is limiting the search to the Fouesnant area!) and a couple of days to relax and enjoy all the nice things Brittany can offer - Nice seascapes, a comfortable weather, gentle sun, and a relaxing atmosphere.
I did a few sketches…
We rented a cottage on the heights of Forêt Fouesnant - (the place was good, a couple of barns being converted into holidays rentals). Here is a quick sketch : chilling out on the terrace.

This gives a sense of the charms that can be encountered on the place : nice - very nice! - houses and Manors, built over crystal clear seawaters and colored rocks. I remembered some of the scenes of Proust novels that might have taken place in some of these places : the area deserves its naming - 'South Brittany Riviera'.We did nice walks in the surrounding woods and couldn't help to halt and enjoy being on the beach, bathing in resting and colorful atmosphere.
More will come on Brittany, as I took many pics and intend to work on some of them, with both pastels and watercolors. Again, this will be a way to extend the feeling of 'being' in this lovely atmosphere.
