I love a great fashion story, whether it be in photos of film and this short piece (below) by filmmaker Jenna Elizabeth in collaboration with SHAUNS EyewearCollections called "Spectral" starring Chanel Iman is fabulously intriguing and fashionably alluring.
I tend to look at the styling and fashion focus of these projects but I love the way one reader 'ckaji15' analysed the piece: "She's very guarded; wearing sunglasses, crosses her legs, hands held together on her lap. She's brought back to memories from the past; her childhood. She unveils her eyes, wanting to go back. Licking the flower, desperately wanting to taste life again. The 3 girls represent insecurities constantly being looked at. She goes deeper; struggling to keep going on. We find her breaking point, where she lost a part of her. She pulls back in. The truth is finally revealed to her."
