Revlon Lip Cube - £12 from Amazon
The Revlon Lip-Cube has been on my wish list for I-dont-know-how-long and when one of my best friends found out that I wanted it, she bought it for me for my birthday. I have always heard such great things about the formulas and colours of Revlon lipsticks and I am glad to say that this little box didn't disappoint.
The formula of these lipsticks is brilliant, they have a very buttery texture so they are extremely easy to apply and they all last a good couple of hours (at least) on. I always apply lipstick with Lipcote on top, and using this one application can get you through a whole day, pretty damn good I think. This always means that they don't smudge etc and you don't get those annoying lipstick stains on your teeth.
The lipsticks in the pack come in two main finishes, Creme and Pearl. The majority are pearl with only two being Creme (Love that Red and Rum Raisin), this is, unfortunately the opposite way round to how I would have ideally wanted it, but they still look really nice on the lips and with a lipgloss over the top you can't even tell.
The range of colours is also super, there is something for every skin tone and occasion in there. For everyday my favourites are Blushing Mauve and Softsilver Rose and for an occasion, Love that Red and Ice Amethyst. Out of the 9 colours, the only one that I don't like is Coffee Bean as I think that it would suit a darker skin tone better, but to only dislike one out of nine is pretty good I think!
Overall, I think this is an amazing product for people who want to experiment with different lip colours or are looking for a nice introduction to lipstick. Will you be trying this?
