Revlon Colorstay Shadow Links have a unique concept of making your very own palette by just sliding your favorite shades from the range on the side and link each other. The eye shadows are packed in tiny pans (1 inch) with a transparent lid, you can easily identify the shades ;) The lid shuts tightly and will not open up and ruin your handbag, The shade name is mentioned at the bottom of the pan. No applicator or mirror provided.Plum is a gorgeous matte deep plum shade which would flatter on almost every complexion. Plum would go best for a smokey look and would pair well with gold or pink eye shadow this festive season. Although its matte, it does not appear to be chalky over the lids or in swatches. The texture of the eye shadow is smooth and satiny. This particular shade Plum blends easily on skin without much fall-outs. Its nicely pigmented and you just need to swipe your brush twice on the shade and you will get nice pigmentation that is buildable. When using fingers, you need ti swipe 2-3 times for a good color pay-off. Its always recommended to use a primer or eye shadow base underneath. Without base, the shade lasts on my lids for 4 hours after which it starts creasing/fading. With primer underneath, the shade lasts for 7-8 hours with minimal fading. Revlon Shadow Links are a great product for beginners who are new to eye makeup and would like to experiment shades without burning pockets at just Rs 175 each. Plum is a dark plum shade with matte shade which would work great for smokey eye looks. Definitely a thumbs up for me!Rating : 4.75/5
