Revlon ColorStay Liquid Eye Pen

By Bbeautylove @bbeautylove

Liquid eyeliner is something that is always in fashion but it can be tricky to apply, so when some beauty genius decided to combine this staple with an easy use pen nib design, angels chorused and the heavens opened as many a beauty lover’s prayer was answer.

Now, I like to think of myself as somewhat of an eyeliner connoisseur, as I have tried so many over the years I now know what is good and what is bad. This eyeliner pen from Revlon falls into the ‘flippin great’ category and it has become my new favourite.

For a long while I had mainly reached for the Soap & Glory Supercat liner (see post) which is still one of the best out there. But Revlon has just knocked it off it’s perch although in terms product they are both incredibly similar.

I love this one from Revlon’s ColorStay range because not only is it really easy to use but it also stays true to it’s promise and lasts all day. Easily. The ink is very pigmented so you get a very rich black flick and the nib is a perfect size for pinpoint precision and a thicker line if your prefer. Versatility is key with these products and this one doesn’t disappoint. It also never drags or pulls on the eyelid and glides on smoothly and quickly without any need for severe concentration.

Fool-proof, quick and amazing staying power? What more could you ask for? Well a great price tag and wide availability wouldn’t go amiss. Well it’s got that too!

An underrated product from a beauty power house that deserves more recognition. May the love start here…

Available from Boots, Superdrug and online. Worldwide. Priced £6.99.
