Monday-Tuesday, Philippe Toinard in A Nous Paris, reviewed and gave 3/5 dots to Plantxa, 58, rue Gallieni in Boulogne-Billancourt, 01.46.20.50.93, closed Sundays, chef’d by a Colombian Top Chef graduate who changes the menu every 3-4 days, but that day had a Pampa burger, shrimp ceviche and deconstructed lemon tart on 27 and 40 E menus (50 a la carte); and his colleague Jerome Berger awarded 3/5 dots to Miznon, 22, rue des Ecouffes in the 4th, 01.42.74.83.58, closed Saturdays, a la carte about 15 E for pita with boeuf bourgignon, chickpeas, or lamb kebab. 

Tuesday, in Le Fooding, they announced the Le Fooding awards; which in Paris went to Bones, l’Orillon Bar, Les Peres Populaires, Richer, Mary Celeste, Buvette, The Sunken Chip, Frenchie to go, Grillé, Il Brigante, La Buvette. 

In Wednesday’s Figaroscope, Emmanual Rubin awarded 2 hearts to 2 places, the previously mentioned Bistrot Bellet and Terroir Parisien Bourse, Palais Brongniart, 28, place de la Bourse in the 2nd, open 7/7, 01.83.92.20.30, costing about 35-40 E before liquids for items such as chicken pate, sweetbread sausage and pear tart.  One heart each went to the previously mentioned British dinette Hollybelly in the 10th; the Yankee Bronco in the 10th; and Cachette in the 6th. 

The Dossier this week by, Hugo de Saint-Phalle , Alice Bosio and Colette Monsat dealt with hotel restaurants and included:

Le Dali at the Meurice

Vraymonde at Buddha Bar

La Scene at the Price de Galles

Edgar at the hotel of the same name

La Table du Lancaster, ditto

La Regalade Conservatoire at the Nell

1, place Vendome at the Vendome

Le Lulli, ditto

Ma Chere & Tendre at the Meridien Etoile. 

And Francois Simon devoted his Hache Menu to the “genuine” trattoria Casa Bini in the 6th. 

Sunday in the JDD, Francois Lemaire wrote up the previously mentioned Roca in the 17th; and Aurelie Chaigneau’s address of Sunday was the Trattoria Pulcinella in the 18th (6.5/10), her discovery of the week was La Plantx (see above – 7) and return to was Playtime, 5, rue des Petits-Hotels in the 10th, 01.44.79.03.98 (7.5), closed Monday nights and weekends with menus at 36 and 45 E for items such as eggs, a tartare of daurade and a chocolate fondant.
