Pop Rocks Milk Chocolate With Popping Candy
I am still on the hunt for my 10 Worst Chocolate Bars and when I was in Asda last week looking for Hershey's Kisses (which a few readers have told me should be on that list), I came across Pop Rocks and this Pop Rocks Milk Chocolate with Popping Candy bar. I had assumed that this was an American bar as it was in with the Tootsie Rolls and Hershey's but it is in fact Spanish made by Zeta Espacial.
It's a 40g bar containing 192 caloriess and at £1.20 I thought was a bit of a rip off. You expect to pay more for imports I guess, but it is really quite a basic bar.

It was quite long and thin and made up of 5 sections of milk chocolate. I couldn't see any evidence of popping candy but there was certainly plenty of it when I bit into it. The milk chocolate was pretty average, it wasn't terrible like some of the Hershey's bars but it wasn't as creamy as the milk chocolate that we seem to favour in the UK.
Verdict
It wasn't bad enough to make the 10 Worst Chocolate bars but it's definitely not one that I will be buying again, especially not at that price! Points for the popping candy which I've always loved since I was a kid but the chocolate was average at best.
