Review of imPRESS Press-On Nails in Tweetheart

By Lisagray @juicysatsuma
I’ve mentioned before that I am allergic to nail polish, which means I’m always on the lookout for alternative ways to decorate my nails. I’d been meaning to try imPRESS nails by Broadway for a while so with an event to go to over the weekend (Obscure Couture's fashion film screening) and a 3 for 2 offer on in Boots, I thought I’d finally give them a go.
The color I  went for is Tweetheart which is a lovely deep, glossy red color. I much prefer classic block colours to crazy patterns. That would be one criticism I would make of the imPRESS range actually. They don’t have enough classic colours to choose from. At 27 I’m sort of past bright pink zebra print!

Apologies! Photos taken in artificial light!

What makes imPRESS nails nails different to other glue on nails I’ve tried is that they come pre-glued. This makes them super quick and easy to apply. Also, the length is fantastic! They are nice and short, which makes them super easy to wear, and much more natural looking. I’ve included a photo of my my nails from behind so that you can see just how short they are.

I’ve had my nails on for four days now and in that time I’ve been out partying, volunteered at an animal rescue centre, peeled potatoes, been in the shower four times and sat typing in an office all day. Still, these babies show no signs of coming off my nails anytime soon. I have never had that kind of durability from stick on nails before! If they make it to the 1 week mark they will be becoming a permanent fixture in my beauty routine! Even Mr Juicy commented on how good my nails looked and he literally could not care less about these things (he has never read my blog...ever). If you are debating over whether or not to try them (some people have given these not so good reviews) then why not take advantage of the 3 for 2 in Boots?
PS. How freaking adorable is the packaging?
