Review of Dr Hauschka's Cleansing Milk

By Lisagray @juicysatsuma
If you are using Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish stop immediately and switch to Dr Hauschka Cleansing Milk! I used Liz Earle for years. Long before it became a Beauty Editor fave. I remember her personally punting her wares at some ungodly hour on QVC many years ago. My how far she’s come!
I stopped using Cleanse and Polish because although I loved the formula it was actually too thick and heavy for my oily skin and caused breakouts. I’ve spent a long time trying to find a suitable substitute. Everything has either been full of harsh chemicals which strip my skin of any natural goodness or they’ve been not much better than using just water! There seemed to be no middle ground. That was, until I tried Dr Hauschka Cleansing Milk.

Review of Dr Hauschka's Cleansing MilkThe formula is runnier than Cleanse and Polish but it is similar in that it is a creamy cleanser full of natural goodness. It has a sweet almond smell to it and it just melts all the makeup and grime from the day off of my face. It is an absolute pleasure to use.
Review of Dr Hauschka's Cleansing MilkWhen I came back from my glamping holiday my skin was a mess. One week later after using Dr Hauschka Cleansing Milk my skin is the best it has ever looked. Ever. It’s glowing and radiant (if I do say so myself!) and it feels, well, normal. I have craved normal skin since my teens! This morning I went to put some concealer on over my foundation and thought, wait a sec, I can’t find a single place I actually need concealer! Rejoice!
The Dr Hauschka philosophy is that you shouldn’t moisturiser at night. Instead you should cleanse, tone and then leave your skin to repair itself and not depend completely on help from products. I never thought I’d go for this but by God, it works! This cleanser leaves my skin feeling nourished and happy. It never feels tight or uncomfortable.
I know I am gushing a bit here but please try this if you have problem skin. I’m convinced you’ll love it!
