Review: Naked Boost Revitalising Hair Treatment

By Lisagray @juicysatsuma
Just a quick little review today of a hair mask from Naked. I won this hair mask (amongst other things) as a prize for Best Team Name at the Blogger Pub Quiz. (Our team name was Unpublished Post. Har har har, oh us bloggers are so witty!)
It was a wonderful night and I met so many lovely, Scottish bloggers. The event was hosted by Paula from The Brantastic Life and you can view photos and all the details of the event over on her blog HERE.

I’ve been growing my hair for about 6 months now, which has been a bit stressful as I used to get my hair cut religiously every 6 weeks! This has resulted in my hair looking a bit *blah*.  It’s at an annoying not quite mid-length, not quite long, not really anything stage. It’s very tempting to get some sort of fringe or layers cut into it, but I’m determined to keep my sights on having long, ‘un-styled’ looking hair.

Note wrinkly shower hands, ewwwww!

I thought making use of this Naked mask might put some life back into my hair while it grows. So what did I think of it?
PROS
1. It smells AMAZING! Like coconuts and holidays! I assume that the smell if from the marula fruit which is listed as a key ingredient. I have no idea what a marula fruit is but it smells gorgeous! I literally could not stop smelling myself all day. Like a crazy person.
2. It made my hair soft, shiny, sleek and manageable and these results lasted a good week after I’d used the mask!
3. Naked have a strict no animal testing policy and so they have made it onto my list of Cruelty Free Brands. you’ll find a link to this in my side bar.
CONS
1. Once I’d applied the mask I had to cover my head with a freezer bag for 15 minutes to allow the mask to work it’s magic. This was not glamourous.
2. This mask was so amazing that I’m now going to have to part with my hard earned cash to purchase one once a fortnight.
3. If you have very long or thick hair you will probably require two sachets to cover all of your hair.
As you can see my cons aren’t really cons! This is the BEST hair mask I have ever used. It is wonderful. Go try it immediately. If you need to buy two masks to cover your hair, suck it up, it’s worth it (not meant to sound L’Oreal like)!
