Review: Etude House Missing U Lip Balm I Can Fly #Kakapo

By Herugliness
Hello! ~ It has already been a few months since I won the Etude House Missing U Lip Balm I Can Fly #Kakapo from Little Porcelain Princess in a giveaway. That's how far behind I am with me reviews. Nevertheless I want to catch up and review it for you today. What's so unique of this product is that the Etude House Missing U Lip Balm comes in the shape of an egg! It belongs together with the hand creams from the same line, which are shaped after birds (which I will review at some other point, hopefully). Each lip balm holds 10g of product.Etude House Missing U Lip Balm I Can Fly #Kakapo ReviewEtude House Missing U Lip Balm I Can Fly #Kakapo ReviewThe packing of the product itself is a lready very unusual, but so is the product itself. Before I opened it, I thought there would be the kind of creamy balm inside, where you dip your finger into it and apply it on your lips. However, there is actually some kind of solid globe inside of it. Nothing you can dip your fingers into, but instead you apply it directly on your lips.Etude House Missing U Lip Balm I Can Fly #Kakapo ReviewEtude House Missing U Lip Balm I Can Fly #Kakapo Review
I thought the usage would be kind of weird, but it actually works quite well!Apparently the lip balm is supposed to be tinted, but I cannot see any color difference on my lips, which I don't mind. My lips seem smoother and less dry after applying and the effect lasts maybe 3-4 hours, which, for me, is average for lip balms. There is an awesome peach-scent to the lip balm, but I cannot notice any kind of significant taste on my lips after using the balm, which I am completely fine with, because I don't like balms with strong taste.I thought I would be more insignificant about this product, but I actually like it a lot!
