caudalie polyphenol eye contour

Hello lovelies,

here’s another product from Polyphenol C15 line. It is Caudalie Polyphenol C15 Anti-Wrinkle Eye and Lip Cream.

The full sized product comes in a 15 ml tube and it retails for GBP 26. You can get it from feelunique. I am using a GWP sized 5 ml tube. I’ve been using it for a month, every day, and there’s still some product left.

When it comes to my eye-contour area – it shows signs of aging – not so much through wrinkles, but more through dryness of the skin. It is also important to notice that I’m a contact lens wearer, which takes its toll on the skin around the eyes. At the moment gel creams do not work for me as they do not moisturize enough, so it was high time to start using some proper eye creams.

The cream promises to “reduce dark circles, depuffs and smooths away wrinkles around the eye contour and the lips” and the key ingredients are: grape polyphenols, stabilised vitamin C, horse chestnut, fern and Matrixyl 3000, liquorice, hamamelis and calendula.

INGREDIENTS:

Aqua (Water), Glycerin*, Butylene Glycol, Isononyl Isononanoate, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride*, Cetearyl Alcohol*, Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil*, Peg-20 Stearate, Cetyl Alcohol*, Tocopheryl Acetate*, Palmitoyl Grape Seed Extract*, Carbomer, Cyathea Cumingii Leaf Extract*, Caprylyl Glycol, Tocopherol*, Escin*, Ammonium Glycyrrhizate*, Potassium Sorbate, Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel) Leaf Extract*, Calendula Officinalis Flower Extract*, Xanthan Gum, Sodium Hydroxide, Ascorbyl Tetraisopalmitate, Sodium Phytate*, Polysorbate 20, Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Glyceryl Caprylate*, Cinnamic Acid*, Levulinic Acid*, Sodium Levulinate*, Palmitoyl Oligopeptide, Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7

*of natural origin

I wouldn’t call the formula gel-cream – it is certainly richer, but it is not too heavy. It spreads easily and you only need a rice grain amount for under eye area. It contains a considerable amount of vitamin C, judging by how it managed to fade the under-eye part of the scar on my face.

This cream keeps my under-eye area moisturized. I don’t have a lot of visible wrinkles (other than the lines that naturally occur) but I have super-thin, barely visible lines which this cream reduces. I cannot comment on how it works on dark circles because I’m fortunate enough to avoid this problem, but the general appearance of my under-eye area is brighter and well-rested.

This cream is definitely on my to buy list and I plan to purchase full size once I spend my Pulpee Vitaminee eye contour cream.

xoxo Tamara
