Review: Bobbi Brown Ultra Nude Eye Palette
I don't think is a more loved/hated palette out there at the moment than the Bobbi Brown Ultra Nude Eye Palette.
But this is a nude palette and I am a total sucker for nudes with the exception of the Urban Decay Naked Palettes (insert gasp here).  I don't know why but I just didn't get into all the hype surrounding them.  I'm sure they will make it into my collection eventually but they aren't anything I'm dying to get my hands on at the moment.  It was the same thing with this palette-at first I didn't think it was anything great and didn't really give it a second thought but then I started to see tons of posts on it...some hated it because it is so sheer and others loved it for the natural look it gives.  My advice?  Go swatch this in person with a little primer or cream shadow on your hand already because without a primer these are practically invisible.  However with a primer they offer a lovely natural look.

Another thing to keep in mind with this palette is that it is called the "ultra nude" palette which is big hint that these are not meant to be super pigmented shadows.  This palette offers a beautiful sheer (but not too sheer) wash of color to the lids to create multiple natural looks.  So if you're someone like me who usually likes the very natural look then I think this palette is a great addition to your collection.  My only gripe- the $45 price tag...for colors that aren't as pigmented as the usual Bobbi Brown shadows I think it's a bit over priced and that $30-$35 would have been much more reasonable.

I've heard a lot of people say that Cocoa Berry is very difficult to work with and that it doesn't blend well but I think Cocoa Berry is really meant to be more of a liner shade.  You can wet the liner end of the duo brush and use it for liner which I did when I first tried this palette (I also used the angled side of the brush for my lid and crease and thought it was great as well!) and it worked really well.  The colors didn't move around on my eyes and the shadows, including CB for liner, lasted for hours and gave me a really pretty natural look.  All in all, I love this palette but if your looking for a little more bang for your buck then I'd go for something more like the Urban Decay Naked Palettes.
What do you all think of this palette?  Something you'll pick up or pass on?
