I LOVE Lipsticks but if you ask my next big favorite, it has to be Balm Stains. What fascinates me about Balm Stains is the sole idea that they work like a balm and also as a lip color which is fun and practical. Best part about this balm stain is, I don’t need to prep my lips. Dry lips get that balm effect while I get the color. Perfect for busy and lazy girls like me! *-*
Its glossy and shiny when applied and subtly fades into plain tint on lips without making them look dry (absolutely love this part). Pls refer to the above pic. Color stays and glossiness slightly fades.
I love this shade of Red, a Vintage Hollywood which is Perfect for everyday wear.
Color is quite buildable and takes a darker hue slowly (so go easy with the color and give it few secs for the color to settle before applying more)
Leaves the lips moisturized with a subtle minty cooling effect.
Color/stain lasted all day long, survived large meals and even oily snacks and junk food.
It does what it claims!!!

Dislikes

End of the day it left a ring of color on the inner sides of the lips.

For that price and for lasting all day long, surviving meals and snacks; I guess forming of that ring can be ignored. Besides, any lip color would have this one con for sure. On the bright side, a quick swipe and/or dab of the wet wipe or tissue over the lips and re-applying the balm stain prolonged the long lasting period of the same.

Honestly, am seriously in love with this Collection. I have another shade, Lady and the Vamp from this same Collection; which is a dark berry shade. This one is as beautiful as Red-dy or Not. Will post the Swatches of that soon.Till then..
