RethinkDinner.com, FBAN.com And More Domain Movers

Domain Movers detects recently acquired, registered and domain names simply on the move for one reason or another. These domain movements are almost all by large companies and often reveal a future brand, product, service, ad campaign, new business or more.

Here we go with the latest domain movers:

Chemtura Corporation has allowed the domain name BackyardEssentials.com to expire. The domain had been registered since May 1, 2003. MarkMonitor assisted in acquiring the domain name for them on or about April 30, 2007 from a Walter Perkins. The domain was grabbed on the drop by YouDomain, which is a Web.com owned registrar. BuyDomains.com is now the owners of the domain name and may have acquired it in a drop auction on NameJet?

Hasbro, Inc. registered the domain name NerfPerks.com adding to its 3,400 domain names.

Panera, LLC has acquired the domain name RethinkDinner.com according to whois records. The domain has been registered since February 5, 2013 at GoDaddy. The domain name had been owned by Jacob Tyler Creative Group and went into whois privacy at GoDaddy on March 24, 2015 and displaying Panera Bread on June 22, 2015 when transferring into MarkMonitor.

Novartis AG has registered the domain name JoinRealSupport.com adding to it nearly 14,000 domain names. CVM, Inc. owns the domain name RealSupport.com.

Goodby Silverstein & Partners who is an advertising agency based in San Francisco acquired the domain name Jacked3D.com from HugeDomains.com and then the domain name changed whois to display Frito-Lay North America, Inc., so the domain was likely acquired initially on-behalf of Frito-Lay. A Yael Hardy with an email address of “[email protected]” showed up in whois on March 22, 2015. On June 18, 2015 the domain went into privacy protection at NameBright and then on June 25, 2015 displaying Frito-Lay.

Goodby Silverstein & Partners works with some of the biggest companies there is, including Sonic Drive-In, Adobe, Haagen-Dazs, Google, NBA, Milk Marketing Board (Got Milk), ComCast, Specialized, Corona, Frito-Lay and Nickelodeon to mention a few.

Yael is actually listed as the registrant on GotMilk.com and the email address is associated with over 100+ domain names according to DomainTools. Frito-Lay has already started using the domain, although they are only redirecting it, but they have used the domain on Twitter already as well.

Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc. has acquired the domain name TheBusinessCompany.com from HugeDomains.com using MarkMonitor and its domain buying service who uses the email address [email protected] . The domain was actually acquired dating back to April 18, 2012 and has just now revealed Warner Bros. The domain had a $1,695 buy now price.

Google Inc. registered the domain name TurtleHelmets.com . Hard to say what this may be used for but I’m sure they had a reason to register it.

PFIP LLC (Planet Fitness) who is planning a July IPO has acquired its matching stock symbol PLNT.com from a Warren Weitzman of Warren.com / Caramba LLC according to whois records. The domain has been registered since May 31, 2005.

Wells Fargo & Company has registered several “learn more” domain names that include: LearnMoreWellsFargo.com, LearnMoreWF.com, WellsFargoLearnMore.com and WFLearnMore.com. Wells Fargo currently owns over 3,300 domain names.

HLT Domestic IP LLC (Hilton Hotels) registered the domain names: PublicBelt.com, ThePublicBelt.com, PublicBeltNewOrleans.com and PublicBeltNola.com.

Good-Logistics.com has been registered by a currently unknown CSC Corporate Domains client. The domain GoodLogistics.com without the hyphen is owned by BuyDomains.com and currently has a listing price of $5,988.

LF, LLC (Lowes) has registered the domain name LetterToLowes.com adding to its domain name portfolio of 3,500+ domain names.

Kellogg Company registered the domain name YourHomeGate.com and started redirecting it to KelloggsFamilyRewards.com, introducing the new and improved KFR.

Impressionen.net has been acquired by a currently unknown CSC Corporate Domains client. The domain has been registered since October 25, 2001 and was owned by BuyDomains.com. The domain appears to have sold via Afternic as according to whois history records, the domain went into DnEscrow. IMPRESSIONEN Versand GmbH (Impressionen.de) who is also a CSC client owns the .com version and was also recently acquired about February 9, 2015 when it came out of whois privacy protection after being parked with Sedo.

Impressionen.net sold February 9, 2007 at Sedo for $532 but neither of the recent sales currently have a public sales price with them. July 17, 2007 is the oldest whois record on the .net and BuyDomains is shown as the owners then, so they potentially could have been the $532 buyers.

Essilor has acquired the domain name Ecpu.com from a Eunjung O of the Republic of Korea. The domain name was using DomainNameSales.com at the time of the sale and had a $11,185 minimum offer price at Sedo but that listing still remains.

Home Box Office, Inc. registered the domain name ExperienceTheRealm.com and is getting ready to launch a site on it. Currently it just states “frodo” on it and the page tab states: frodo.pokedev.net.

HBO also began redirecting the domain name HBOConnect.com to connect.hbo.com which is currently in beta. They registered that domain name on May 4, 2015.

Facebook, Inc. has acquired the four letter domain name Fban.com using “David Taylor” and “LovellsNames.org” again. The domain name was owned by BuyDomains.com and the transaction took place according to whois history records on February 19, 2015.

It appears that BuyDomains had acquired the domain FBAN.com at NameJet for $143 on May 26, 2010 according to LLLLSales.com and whois history records because on May 29, 2010 domain name servers changed to BuyDomains.

I was not able to find the recent sales price.

Twitter, Inc. registered the domain name PeriscopeRobot.com adding to its 1,900+ domain name portfolio with one of those being Periscope.tv .

Elepath, Inc which was founded in 2012 by Jake Lodwick and offers creative software, has Keezy, which is a network for sharing music. The site launched as Keezy.co and has now acquired the domain name Keezy.com. The domain name was owned by Enrique Moragues Ramos and has been registered since January 26, 2008.

AttachedByTheHip.com has been registered by a currently unknown CSC Corporate Domains client.

Brandling AG (OnyxGroup.ch / Brandling.ch) has registered the domain name ComeAllover.com adding to its 75 other domain names. They also own the domain name GoAllover.com (which could also be GoalLover.com).

The domain was registered prior but expired in 2012 and sat unregistered since then and was owned by Courtview Media prior.

Covidien LP has registered the domain name VerifyEveryBreath.com adding to its domain name portfolio of almost 1,000 domain names.

Morris Publishing Group registered the domain names AtlantaLunchDeals.com, AugustaLunchDeals.com, CharlotteLunchDeals.com, SavannahLunchDeals.com, CityLunchDeals.com and GreatLunchDeals.com. They currently do not own LunchDeals.com but that domain is listed for sale at Sedo with a $7,500 Buy Now.

Pernod Ricard, S.A. has acquired the domain name Lorbe.com from HugeDomains.com adding to its domain name portfolio of over 4,700+ domain names. The domain name had a $2,095 Buy Now price and has been registered since October 2, 2009.

Abbott Laboratories has registered the domain name HealthierLabs.com adding to its 8,000+ other domain names.

GoDaddy has sold the following domain names out of its Marchex domain portfolio: ManhattanRug.com, PhotoFlux.com, UltimateChoice.com, ClassicHome.com, OcularScience.com and TradeSurplus.com
