Famed French ballerina shoemaker Repetto will be launching its flagship store in ION Orchard come November 2013 – the hoarding is up on Level 3 ION and I’m pretty curious about the iconic ballet-inspired flats the brand is famous for.
Along with the flagship store that will carry the brand’s ready to wear collection, the brand’s namesake fragrance, Repetto by Repetto, will be launching in Sephora.
It is an alliance of emotions; a satin veil which brushes the skin, a body which twirls and arches itself in an infinite grace
Repetto by Repetto is created by Olivier Polge – the nose behind several Ferragamo fragrances like F by Ferragamo and F For Fascinating as well as collaborations with other perfumers to create Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb, Lancôme La Vie Est Belle, Christian Dior Pure Poison and many more; Polge is also set to take over the reins from his father, Jacques Polge, as Chanel’s house perfumer.
Repetto by Repetto has been inspired by the soft rose-blush satin ribbons of pointe shoes used by ballerinas – graceful, feminine and pure. I think Repetto by Repetto’s campaign film expresses this beautifully.

In celebration of the brand’s flagship store and fragrance launch, Repetto and Cheng Ballet Academy will be staging ballet performances at Sephora ION on 19 Oct 2013; there will be 2 showtimes at 445pm and 715pm. Do pop by to partake in the celebrations.
