Reducing Stress

By Sahi
stress is often caused by a particular situation we are in. Many people, for example, have a fear of public speaking. An effective strategy is to prepare well in advance. Ways to do this may include visiting the location ahead of time to familiarise yourself with it and rehearsing your speech in front of a family member or friend. Here are few ways how we can reduce stress.
REDUCING STRESS
1.Get up 15 minutes earlier each morning. That gives you a little more time to eat something, run back to get something you forgot, or enjoy a cup of coffee before heading out the door. If you drive to work, a 15 or 20 minute head start may decrease some of the traffic you face, and make the commute less stressful.
2.many people do not get a good night’s sleep on a regular basis. Seven to eight hours each night is the amount of sleep generally recommended, although it varies from person to person. You will know when you are getting enough sleep when you start waking refreshed each morning (often naturally before the alarm goes off) and notice more energy throughout the day.
3.Do not eat or drink too much caffeine although it gives you stamina and vitality it also disturbs sleep patterns and makes you more nerves.
4.When things are not going the way you want, don't "talk down on you" the way you talk to your self has a lot to do with the way you feel, things like "I'll never learn this,” "I can't do it" or "I hate this guy" are negative thinking and promotes stress, depression, and frustration. always be optimistic.
5.Meditation, slow and easy abdominal breathing, and connecting with positive emotions are three methods for getting the desired pattern of both strength and balance.Meditating is associated with balance and relaxation that helps us reach a state of balance..
6Smile more. We all know laughter reduces stress. You will be amazed at how much more pleasant the people around you are when you make an effort to be pleasant yourself. 7.Realize that there are some things that just aren't worth worrying about and there are some things you just can't change. Don't waste time stressing over the things in either category.
