The pumpkin season comes to the end so we experience the latest recipes with this vegetable. What's better than a good homemade cake to delight the palate of all? The pumpkin is good, it has a low calorie content and it is rich in beta carrots and vitamins A, B, E. The pumpkin also has antioxidant properties that help our body to stay healthy.
The pumpkin is a vegetable rich in minerals such as the calcium, the sodium, the potassium, the phosphorus, the magnesium, the iron, the selenium, the manganese and the zinc.
In conclusion the pumpkin is highly recommended. So I'm experimenting the recipes where I can use it at the most. Sunday I tried to make  a pumpkin pie and I was satisfied with the result. Here, therefore, the recipe
INGREDIENTS
500 gr  of the pumpkin flesh 4 cups of sugar Half a teaspoon of salt Italian foodHalf a teaspoon of the ginger powder 1 tablespoon of the cinnamon 1 tablespoon of the flour 2 eggs 1 cup of the milk powder 2 tablespoons of water Vanillin A base of pastry
WHAT TO DO
Cook the pumpkin cut into cubes. Put them in a pan and add a bit of water (it must not be too wet) Put the pulp of the pumpkin in a bowl with sugar, salt,  the ginger, the cinnamon and the flour. Add the eggs and mix well until everything is blended. Add the water, the milk powder, the vanilla and mix. Once mixed well put all on the base of pastry. Bake and cook at 220 degrees for 15 minutes Then decrease the temperature to 180 degrees and bake for 40 minutes Make sure the cake is soft enough
