Re: TMZ's Caption This: MADONNA AND MALE DANCER

By Roseywinter @roseywinter
I was browsing Facebook and saw that TMZ posted a photo of Madonna and a male dancer, with the words "Caption this" underneath it.

After reading some of the comments, I felt compelled to respond... but not necessarily caption. I'm sure people ignored my comments, but that's not the point. The point is that I said what I felt. I really don't like celebrity bashing, and wonder why people feel as though it's somehow more acceptable than bashing a non-celebrity. A person is a person.

My comments on Facebook

In case you can't see what I wrote above (or if the screenshots don't show up for you), this is what I said:

First post:

I don't see what the big deal is. The world is full of cougars, and most of them are uglier, fatter, and poorer than she is. Plus... she's an entertainer. Of course she's going to do sexy looking shit while she sings... very few mainstream entertainers don't, especially female ones. So what? Who cares? And as for people's comments about her age... seriously? I don't listen to her music and don't pay that much attention to her, but even I'm not jealous enough or ignorant enough to say that she's gross & looks old. She looks pretty darn good for her age. And as for the comment about how she writes children's book... again I say, so what? There are plenty of legitimate full-time authors that write erotic romance novels by night, and children's/young-adult fiction by day. How is this any different? Well, besides the fact that erotic romance novels are far more explicit.
I don't love OR hate Madonna... but I'm certainly not going to judge her.

Second Post:

Oh, and to add on to everybody's idea that being old = gross... go apologize to your parents/grandparents/great-grandparents, etc. You guys are judge down right rude little brats. Let's see if YOU age gracefully. Geez.
